What we know is what's included in the Vital Records on this page. There were Thomas Stanifords in Ipswich and some in Charlestown, Massachusetts, and although several unauthenticated genealogies give the Charlestown Stanfords as the lineage of our Thomas Stanford, I have not been able to find any authentication to that effect.. No information is available on the Fluent family prior to Mary's marriage to Thomas. The birth dates of both Thomas and Mary are estimated.
Thomas and Mary Fluent Stanford had two known children in Marblehead, both of whom survived to adulthood and married. Mary married Samuel Flack, and together they had numerous children. Anne married Thomas Grant, and it appears that they had two children, Thomas Jr. and Elizabeth Grant.
